James Tailoring was founded on the idea of bringing together the very best in responsible, sustainable garment trims to designers, creatives and makers. Designed to be a responsible, ethical and a sustainable choice for the fashion industry with the single aim of making sustainability as simple as it could be.
Taking lessons from the past we have rediscovered elastic tapes that are made with cotton and natural rubber, buttons produced from waste milk and from the future we have innovative biodegradable sewing thread made from cellulose wood fibres.
Our family run business is committed to minimising the environmental impact as much as possible within the fashion industry. We source all our products from sustainable and responsible suppliers who share our values and our enthusiasm about changing the fashion industry.
